All Power America APG3010 2,000 Watt 4 HP OHV 4-Cycle Gas Powered Portable Generator (Non-CARB Compliant)

All Power America APG3010 2,000 Watt 4 HP OHV 4-Cycle Gas Powered Portable Generator (Non-CARB Compliant) Review

The All Power gen. is an acceptable substitute for the more expensive name brands in the same category. It starts easy and has plenty of power for the average camper. I'm not sure I'd want to hear several of these in a campground but out in the woods it wouldn't bother anyone and delivers what it promises.
I give it four stars because according to the description of this product it came equipped with a volt meter. There is not a volt meter and this was the deciding factor for us when we chose it. The dealer responded and said the decription was in error. Hopefully it has been corrected.
Over all I would recommend this product if you need power occasionally and don't want to spend huge money. I've seen them locally for twice the price.

All Power America APG3010 2,000 Watt 4 HP OHV 4-Cycle Gas Powered Portable Generator (Non-CARB Compliant) Feature

Hydrogen Generators For Cars - What Are They and How Do They Work?

When I first heard about hydrogen generators for cars and hydrogen car kits, I thought that people were talking about some futuristic gadget or rocket car, perhaps from the latest science fiction blockbuster at the movies. I never believed that it would be possible to run cars on water which is what these gas mileage devices are claimed to do.

But it seems that hydrogen generators for cars are nothing new and the technology has been around for some time. In fact I found out that these hydrogen car kits are widely available and at a price that almost everyone can afford. The prices seem to range between $100-$150 and are very easily installed as most of them come with a full guide to show you how.

So just what are these hydrogen car kits?
Basically in very simple terms what they consist of is a small container of water to which is added a catalyst, such as baking soda, and some stainless steel plates. This is then connected to your cars battery to supply a small amount of electricity. When all these components are put together in the proper way what you end up with is a small hydrogen generator.

Once this system is installed and up and running it is possible to extract hydrogen oxygen (HHO) also known as a brown gas by the use of electrolysis. This is a process were electricity is used to change water into HHO. As water is made up of hydrogen and oxygen this process separates the two hydrogen atoms from the oxygen atom, basically converting the water into two flammable gases.

This HHO gas is then taken into the airflow on the intake manifold of your engine were it is mixed with the ordinary gasoline from your fuel tank. This mixture is then burnt in your engine in the usual way, but as it burns more efficiently and cleanly, it gives you better performance, more power and a huge saving in the amount of gasoline used.

Along with the fantastic gas mileage improvements that you get with these hydrogen car kits there are many other advantages. You get a cleaner burning fuel which will help to remove carbon deposits in your engine and prevent further build up. You will prolong the life of your engine and so save on mechanics bills. And one of the best of all is that this system produces considerably less harmful exhaust emissions, so helping to reduce the green house gases that cause global warming.

So with all these advantages of hydrogen generators for cars and with the actual hydrogen car kits so readily available and at such a great price, it is possible to run cars on water. I really think that water fueled cars are the way ahead. With the rocketing price of oil, and the cost of gas at the pumps going up on an almost weekly basis we really should be doing all we can to make gas mileage improvements for ourselves.

And if we are helping the environment by using cleaner burning fuels then so much the better. So do the planet a favour and save cash at the same time and find out more about water fueled cars for yourself.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet Generator - How Does it Work?

One of the key ingredients of the popular Fat Loss 4 Idiots program is the diet generator software. But how does this software work and what does it actually do?

Fat Loss 4 Idiots is based on Calorie Shifting. This entails eating different types of calories throughout the day to maintain a high metabolic rate. This is easier said than done because it isn't simple to shift calories in a correct way. That's where this comes in: it creates a calorie shifting menu for you.

When I first heard of the diet generator I asked myself why it's necessary to create a special software to create a menu, why not just supply one? The reason is that it produces a personal menu for each user. The menu is generated in 2 steps:

1. The user of the diet chooses a long list of his favorite foods from which the menu will be comprised.

2. The diet generator gets to work and from the food items that the user chose in step 1 creates a personal calorie shifting menu.

The personal menu makes it easier for each person to stick to the diet since he or she gets to eat a lot of what they actually like. But without the diet generator, it wouldn't work to help him/her lose weight. So you see, the fat loss 4 idiots diet generator is a crucial part of diet and contributes much to its popularity and success rate.

Of course, if you don't commit yourself to losing weight, no diet will ever help you. Therefore, it's crucial that you remain motivated and committed to achieve the right goal.

Whole House Generators - Commercial Generators - Industrial Generators

Being without electricity can be very costly. The home owner can lose food stored in the refrigerator and freezer. As well as the inconvenience of not having heat, air conditioning, television, and other electrical items we have grown accustom to having available. For the commercial or industrial user being without electric can be crippling in lost production, employee cost during no productivity, and other costly losses.

Whole house generators are two pole systems that run on low pressure gas or natural gas. These generators range from 8.5 - 16 kilowatts depending on the model. Most will come in 120/240 volt models, and can be purchased alone or in a package with an automatic transfer switch. The transfer switch is the panel that connects the whole house generator to your circuit breaker box. These transfer switches can come in automatic and manual models, however with a whole house system it is suggested to use the automatic model which will automatically switch to generator power when there is a power failure and back to standard electric source when the power has been restored. Another option for these generators is a super silent housing. This reduces the noise heard while the generator is operating. The whole house generator prices can range from $4,800 - $9,000 depending if you choose to purchase just the generator or a package with transfer switch and super silent housing.

Commercial generators and industrial generators are four pole systems that offer models that run on low pressure gas, natural gas, and diesel fuel. These units generally offer more power than the whole house generator models for larger facilities. The kilowatts of these models range from 18 - 115, and have 120/240, and 277/480 volt options. Like the home back up emergency power systems the industrial models can also have a super silent housing option to reduce outside noise. Also the commercial and industrial models offer an automatic transfer switch that can be purchase as a package with your generator.

Choosing the correct generator to meet your emergency power needs can be a confusing process. If you need back up power consult an expert to help you decide the best generator to meet your needs.

Build it Yourself Homemade Wind Generator

A build it yourself homemade wind generator is not that difficult to make on your own if you have a good set of plans. Our family has now built 3 for ourselves and for friends too. We are certain that you can too.

There is just no reason to buy an expensive model already made when you can save thousands of dollars and build it yourself.

What do you need to start?

· A reliable helper for the building process
· Household regular tools- saw, cordless drill, and wrenches mostly
· A workspace- garage, basement etc.
· Detailed build it yourself home made wind generator plans

Start off by ordering the DC motor used as an electricity generator when the blades turn. This is a simple, inexpensive piece of equipment and the plans show you how to have it delivered directly to your door, a real plus.

While you are waiting for it to arrive you can get busy with building the rest of the machine. You should start with the tower as these are pretty easy to locate. The plans showed us that used TV towers make an excellent wind generator tower. They are free for the asking as people have mostly switched to Satellite TV and the towers are going unused. Just ask and you will get a free tower, maybe you even have one of your own already.

The detailed plans also showed us where to find free deep cycle batteries too. Keeping the costs down is really important so we were glad to see this source listed. In fact using this information we were able to build a 1000 watt wind generator for under $100 in about 3 days.

Adding this to our solar panels (which we also found out how to build in the plans) we were able to easily run our home without grid electricity. That has made a tremendous difference in our life. Building the blades took about a day- make them of wood and at least 4 feet long to produce 1000 watts of power. The rest was easily assembled when the DC motor arrived. The first time those blades started turning and the sun was shining on our homemade solar panels we couldn't stop smiling at our good decision- all that free electricity for our home.

Did you know that electric rates are expected to double by next year?

Isn't it time you started to build your own electricity system for your home? Let's get started.

Learn about Build It Yourself Homemade Wind Generator is the place to start to learn about how to produce your own free electricity for your home, and isn't that great saving all that money and the environment in the process.

Windmill Generators

Windmill Generators are also known as wind turbines. Others also call it Wind energy converter or wind power unit. It is basically a spinning engine that changes the kinetic energy found in the wind into power or mechanical energy. There are terms that apply to the function of this engine. Such as the term windmill, this generally applies to machinery used to pump or grind stones which uses directly the mechanical energy. However, if the mechanical energy is yet used but still is converted further into electricity, the machinery is then termed as wind generator or wind turbine, or wind energy converter (WEC) or wind power unit (WPU). But regardless of the name preference it still is a controversy how windmill generators can be the solution to the economic condition of electric power supply and consumption. The questions like, would it sustain for a longer term use or just a temporary solution of the growing problem of electricity cost?

Law of Physics determine the power generation of a wind turbine. Theorized and proven by Albert Betz, a German physicist, he explained in his Betz Law how this machine produces or converts into electric energy. He further explained that the amount of energy transferred is absolutely relative to the area seized by the rotor, to the density of the air and the cube of the wind speed.

With this scientific explanation and the proof of the wind turbines working in its function and purpose, there is no doubt that a market niche is now slowly growing for windmill generators.

Wind Generator Plans - How to Make a Plan to Create Your Own Power

One of the best way to get out of the actual economic crisis is to switch to renewable energy.

Did you know that you can use the wind to create your own electricity?

For this, you need step by step wind generator plans.

In a nutshell, you are going to use the wind to create the power you need to live. This way of living is called off grid. However, although the wind is one of the most powerful free energy sources, it will fluctuate from time to time. Sometimes, there is a lot of wind, and other days, the wind flow is weak to non-existent.

How to go off grid with a windmill?

In fact, it is recommend to use wind generated electricity with other energy sources like sun power to be able to completely cut your electric bill.

What do I need to build a wind generator?

The very first thing you need is to know if it is legal to build a wind generator in your area.

Then, it is allowed, you need to determinate the average wind flow speed. Because as we said above, if there is not enough wind, you can stay days without wind power.

The next thing is to start with your wind generator plans. You want to get almost every move you are going to do to build your windmill on the paper.

Ask yourself: How I am going to gather the different parts? How I will build them? Where will I put the wind turbines?

You will also need a good detailed guide like the earth4energy manual for example. This guide is an essential step because it will save you a lot of time and money.

By making your power with energy from the earth, you are doing something great for you, your family, and everything living on this planet.

Generators and Its Types

Today, we are very dependent on a steady power supply. The use of electrical devices like refrigerators and computers means we can't go without power for very long or there will be serious consequences. Even so, power outages still occur. The one the US experienced in 2003 affected over 60 million people and was the largest outage to occur in US history. California recently experienced a wave of rolling blackouts. A New Orleans without power descended in chaos in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

To counter this, many institutions and individuals have bought their own power sources in the form of electrical generators.

How a Generator Works

Basically speaking, a generator is a device which uses a magnet in order to induce a flow of electric current in a circuit, much like how a water pump pushes water through a hose.

A generator functions because of the relation between magnetism and electricity. If electrons (the parts of an atom which carry a negative charge) move through something conductive like a wire, they generate a magnetic field. Conversely, if a magnetic field is placed near a wire and moved, its motion causes the electrons in the wire to move because of a change in electrical potential. This is known as a current.

In the 1830s, Michael Faraday discovered this principle and built the first electromagnetic generator known as the Faraday disc, which used a copper disc rotating between the poles of a horseshoe magnet. In 1832, the first dynamo was built consisting of a power-producing armature moving within a stationary magnetic field.

Types of Generators

The first generators were used in industry and later on to provide electrical power to homes. The past few years have seen the proliferation of engine-generator sets also known as gensets or simply generators for a variety of purposes. There are gasoline generators, diesel generators, liquefied petroleum gas generators, and propane generators; there are even human-powered generators, such as those found in some types of radios and the small sets found in bicycle lights.

Standby generators - These are large, often permanent units that are stationed outside a home, office building, warehouse, shopping mall, and the like to provide backup power in case the mains electricity switches off. These sets are plugged into the main electric lines and can sense when a power interruption has occurred. They automatically start and provide emergency power generating a few seconds after coming online.

Portable generators - These are designed to be transported whether on a cart, trailer or by hand to provide power where there is no utility power supply, as in campsites and construction sites. Their output is sufficient to run appliances such as pumps, refrigerators, lights, radios, and televisions, and the larger ones can be used to power sound systems, high-intensity lights and parked aircraft. The smaller generators typically use gasoline as fuel, whereas the larger ones, capable of providing up to 1,000 kilowatts or more of electricity, use either gasoline, diesel fuel, natural gas, or propane.

Commercial generators - In areas where the power supply is intermittent or lacking as in Third World provincial areas, generators can also be set up to provide additional power.

Solar Power Generator - An Eco-Friendly Green Generator

A solar power generator uses solar energy to convert it into electrical energy in order to run the household appliances. Nowadays, one can easily see TVs, washing machines etc being powered by a solar power generator.

It is termed as "green generator" as it is a proven source of energy which adds nothing to the global warming and the atmospheric pollution. Rather it helps a lot to save the natural energy sources such as petroleum which are on the way of going extinct.

It is emerging as one of most reliable eco-friendly power generating devices. Its total inability to produce air-polluting smoke and irritating sound as other oil run generators do makes it special.A solar power generator is one of the best answers to the shortage of electricity.

A well optimized solar power generator helps a lot to minimize the soaring electricity bill as it is capable of running almost all the appliances merely using the free and unbound solar energy. Moreover, this device is very user-friendly and needs least efforts while its installation. It is widely used in the countrysides and at those places where people face regular power crisis.

Like all other power generators, it too runs on a definite mechanism. The solar energy is concentrated on the solar panels only to produce DC ( direct current). Then this DC is converted into AC ( alternating current) using the solar inverter already present in the generator itself.

Apart from these two components, the third important components of a solar power generator are its rechargeable batteries. These batteries constantly keep receiving power from the inverter in order to run all the appliances.

The strength and efficiency of a solar power generator depends completely on how powerful its inverter is. It is the most important part of the generator as it has the capability to convert DC into AC. While buying an inverter, it is advisable to buy one which can produce a bit more energy than the actual demand of the home appliances.

In many homes it happens that there is hardly any appliance which is run buy AC. Thus those homes don't need solar power generators with any inverters, apart from devices like DC input systems and DC meters.

How to Build a Homemade Hydrogen Generator and Run Your Car on Water

A quick internet search for "homemade hydrogen generator" brings up thousands of websites that encourage this money-saving, yet easy car modification. The basic concept behind this technology is simple enough; by building and installing this gas saving device, you will be able to supplement you car's gasoline, or diesel, with water. The water is electrically-charged and separated into hydrogen and oxygen, both of which are combustible, and able to boost gas mileage by anywhere from 50% to 70%!

The materials used in a homemade hydrogen generator are easily found in any local hardware store and will cost anywhere from $60 to $200 - a really low investment if you consider the long-term savings you will gain.

There are several different "styles" of conversion but all have similar components. In order to convert your car from gas guzzler to gas conserver, you will need a glass jar about quart size, wires to attach to the car battery, a fuse that goes between the starter and the water jar, and two lines that will carry your "water fuel" into the engine's intake manifold and carburetor. Best of all, the building and fitting to your specific car should take only a few hours. A diesel engine takes a simpler and quicker modification.

The advantages of building a homemade hydrogen generator for your car or truck are well worth the small investment of time and money. The most obvious benefit is that a car fitted with this a homemade device will get a substantial boost in gas mileage. As stated earlier, this boost can be up to 70%. Also the engine will run quieter and smoother. This modification is also much cheaper than buying a hybrid car and some research I have done indicates that installing this homemade gas saver will get you money back on your taxes, simply because you are driving your car on "green technology"!

If high gas prices are eating a hole in your wallet and you are contemplating selling your car, SUV, or truck in order to save money, I highly recommend a serious look into homemade hydrogen generator for you vehicle. After a little bit of research, a few minutes in a hardware store, and around a $100 investment, you can have a cleaner, and a more fuel-efficient car that can save you over $1000s each year on gas consumption. After installing a homemade hydrogen generator on you car, you can literally say that you have a car that "runs on water, man".

Generac 5622 GP Series GP5000 6,250 Watt 389cc OHV Portable Gas Powered Generator (Non-CARB Compliant)

Generac 5622 GP Series GP5000 6,250 Watt 389cc OHV Portable Gas Powered Generator (Non-CARB Compliant) Review

The best I can tell Generac = Guardian = Centurion. So this review is actually based on the Centurion equivalent of this generator purchased at Lowes. The Generac unit here appears to be a step nicer than the one for sale at the big box stores.

My limited experience with portable generators is based on this one and a 5000W troy-bilt generator that we owned before it broke. The Troy-Bilt generator siezed after less than 20 hours of operation in near ideal conditions. It was filled with clean oil, operating on a flat surface, around a 1500W load. Failing so early is suggests a manufacturing defect combined with poor luck. Regardless of the failure of the Troy-Bilt, the Centurion/Generac generator is far superior in nearly every manner.

The generator feels about 20 lbs heavier than the Troy-Bilt model.

It runs relatively quietly for the engine size. As expected, the engine starts easily using the pull start.

The oilpan is deeper (and probably larger capacity) than the Troy-Bilt making it less likely to oil-starve the engine if it is not perfectly flat.

The front-leg of the generator is about 2"x8" in size keeping it from vibrating into moist ground.

The locking handles are long enough to make moving it around easy.

The outlets are overload protected on the unit. However there is no electric on/off switch on the unit which I found convenient on the Troy-Bilt.

The fill hole for the metal gas tank is located close to the side so that it fills without a funnel from a standard 5-gallon gas can.

Also from quick research it appears that this unit can readily be converted to run on natural gas/propane.

I've been happy and impressed with it in the short time that I've used it, and as an added bonus it's built almost entirely in the US. It's worth that extra money.

Honeywell HW6200 7750 Watt 13 HP 389cc OHV Portable Gas Powered Home Generator (Non-CARB Compliant)

Honeywell HW6200 7750 Watt 13 HP 389cc OHV Portable Gas Powered Home Generator (Non-CARB Compliant) Review

Just had a power outage that lasted 4 days. Had to place everything from our refrigerator and deepfreeze in containers in the snow. Had no way to get water from our well. Did have propane gas for cooking and wood stove for heating. Had to melt snow on our gas stove for flushing toilets. NO MORE! Now I have a good generator (one with enough continous wattage and startup wattage to run my well pump (240 volts) by itself and also seperately run deepfreeze and refrigerator. I chose to use the generator for emergency only and had a heavy duty long extension cord connected to my well pump so I could unplug it and then run it out through the garage and plug it directly into the generator 240 volt plug. Water for me is a necessity for not only having water to drink and flush toilets but to have if there is a power outage and a fire starts in the home. Please note however that the generator has one of those new 4 hole twist lock plugs for the 240 volt. Also I bought heavy duty 12 guage extension cords to run out a window to plug in my refrigerator and deepfreeze. Also have enough generator power to charge other necessary item for my two sons such as battery operated stuff (now can charge their internal batteries on hand held games, cell phones, etc.)
Yesterday we just had another short power outage (2hours) and I tested the worth of the new generator. All went great. My 22 year old son could take a short shower, and we could flush toilets. The one thing I would note to anyone is to take proper care of the generator for storage and occasional use. I use fuel stablizer in the gasoline and plan to run the new generator for a short time monthly. Also I plan to completely change gasoline periodically by using the older generator gasoline in my lawn mower and placing new gasoline (with stablizer) in the generator. Also recommended for extended storage is to shut off the fuel line valve and run all the gasoline out of the carburetor. Best to always be prepared by making sure the generator is running properly with enough extra gasoline handy. This generator arrived in a few days, assembled easily, started first few pulls of the rope, runs fairly quiet, and the price cannot be beat with the free shipping offered by Amazon.

HHO Hydrogen Generator - Best Hydrogen Car Generator

My neighbor has asked me again for the plans I used to build a hydrogen generator that increased my gas mileage by 35% and made my ten year old truck run like it was new again...I asked him which set of hydrogen generator plans did he want and how much was he willing to pay me for them!

You see, there are a lot of guides on building a hydrogen generator out of parts you can find locally and for under $100. At least that is what they all promise.

A few months ago, before gas prices really got out of whack, I had bought a set of plans that not only promised to be easy to understand but would describe a hydrogen generator that was easy to build as well.

Easy if you had an electronics degree and a garage full of machining equipment that is. There was even some type of electrical coil you had to wind yourself which looked impossible for a gal like my self to do so I quickly abandoned this design.

I found another design that looked pretty simple but I wasn't sure it would really work. I searched around for testimonials and info from people other than those with financial motives and soon realized that not only was it truly easy to build but that it actually worked to increase gas mileage.

So I sent off for another set of plans and was very happy with what I received. I figured I could handle this project and my daughter and I gathered up the supplies and had the thing built and installed in a single weekend.

The hydrogen generator creates a gas known as HHO out of ordinary tap water. You use electrolysis to break apart the water molecule into its core components of two bonded hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. Researchers have been doing this for nearly a century.

Good folks like you and I have been using this gas to supplement the fuel we already use to drastically increase fuel efficiency since the early seventies, so this is nothing knew. It has been a closely guarded secret and the powers that be have made it nearly impossible to spread the word about it.

In fact, I went back on the Internet to check on another design idea and the largest search engine in the world has banned the advertising of guides that teach you how to build a hydrogen generator to use water for gas. Amazing, and in spite of thousands of testimonials and proof that the system does indeed work.

You can't fight big oil or the tax hungry government. Their pockets are a lot deeper than yours and all the search engines combined, so if they want to keep you from this hydrogen generator information they will go to any length necessary to see that it happens.

I'm surprised there are still articles available such as mine out there on the Internet describing this technology. It's just a matter of time before they stop this as well, so don't delay if you want to get in on this exciting technology that is proven to significantly increase gas mileage.

Build Your Own Solar & Wind Power Generator

Did you ever stop paying for electricity? If not, then you build your own solar and wind power. The reason why the energy from these sources is claming that you can not go to all the big companies will pay in exchange for benefits that will be offered with.

It is now possible for your solar or wind power plant built at home for less than $ 200. Most of the parts needed for the development of these systems canexplored for free, such as batteries, to explore this potential of each company with deep cycle batteries are considered.

When it comes to solar panels, you can also free. If you do not know where solar panels, then let me explain, ask. Have you ever noticed the signs located on the side of the road, the light in order to use most of these characters are based on solar energy. If something goes wrong with one of the dishes, they just need to replacewith the new. But they continue to function smoothly and is discovered in a home. All you have to do is visit the public streets and analysis department, if you could shovel to the next or maybe less massively free.

After the installation of wind turbines or solar cells even further to become a bank in the battery to power the entire store, you have enough energy just to take your house off the grid. So if you want to save theMoney is needlessly spent on paying bills and your environment as well, then it is now time to promote solar and wind power. Remember, if you use a little 'effort on your part, you are offered with most of the components needed to build your own solar and wind energy charge.
